I opened my private practice, Compassionate Counseling, in 1998 serving largely the LGBTQIA population. It has been my privilege to have assisted nearly 500 people to gender transition. My work with nonbinary people has focused on helping family members Tto have a better understanding of their gender identity.
I coauthored a book on Transgender and Gender Nonconforming Health and Aging as well as taught Human Sexuality in higher education for sixteen years.
