I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Clinical Mental Health Counseling Student Intern providing virtual therapy services under clinical supervision. My counseling approach is grounded in respect, authenticity, cultural humility, and the belief that every person deserves a safe and affirming space to explore their experiences, identities, and goals.

I welcome and affirm LGBTQ+ individuals across the lifespan, including adolescents, young adults, adults, couples, and families. I strive to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel seen, heard, and supported without judgment. My work is informed by an understanding of minority stress, identity development, family dynamics, intersectionality, and the unique challenges that LGBTQ+ individuals may encounter, including anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, self-esteem issues, coming out experiences, family acceptance, discrimination, trauma, and life transitions.

As a counseling graduate student, I have completed academic coursework and training related to multicultural counseling, diversity, equity, inclusion, social justice, and LGBTQ+ affirmative care. My graduate studies have included research and case conceptualization focused on LGBTQ+ populations and the impact of social and cultural factors on mental health. I am committed to ongoing education and professional development to ensure that my clinical practice remains affirming, culturally responsive, and evidence-based.

In addition to serving LGBTQ+ clients, I have particular interests in working with adolescents, young adults, parents, families, individuals experiencing anxiety or depression, trauma survivors, and those navigating major life transitions. As a Cuban American counselor-in-training who is fluent in both English and Spanish, I also value providing culturally responsive care to individuals from diverse backgrounds and communities.

I am dedicated to helping clients build resilience, strengthen coping skills, develop self-compassion, improve relationships, and move toward lives that feel meaningful, authentic, and aligned with their values.
