I recently moved to Chicago and surveyed a few different hospitals and their trans-focused healthcare. I came across Dr. Arquilla’s profile on this website and decided to pursue care with them. I cannot speak highly enough. They are immensely knowledgeable, not only about the care they provide, but also the general landscape of navigating trans healthcare. I have had bad experiences before, and Dr. Arquilla is always caring and compassionate. They are willing to go to bat for their patients and make specific considerations for their trans patients whether it be specific appointment times blocked off or connecting patients to other trans affirming doctors for other services beyond primary care. I’ve met with a couple other specialists who have commented how lucky I am to have them as my PCP.
Dr. Arquilla is a smart, patient, thorough and compassionate doctor. I also love that they are a queer health care provider because it makes me much more comfortable sharing personal information with them. I would recommend Dr. Arquilla to any friend.
