Gabby (she/her), Owner and Therapist at Third Eye Counseling, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience providing therapy and mental health services to individuals, couples, and groups. Her clients can expect to be met with empathy and authenticity, as she aims to create a space that feels safe enough to explore acceptance, coping tools, vulnerability, and personal growth. Gabby believes that we are resilient, already armed with skills that have gotten us this far in our story, and her hope is to help all clients navigate how to use and build upon these skills to help them further develop and meet their own goals.
Gabby specializes in anxiety, trauma recovery, relationship distress, self esteem, depression, substance use & life transitions for all people, and especially folks ages 18-40. She is passionate about social justice and serving historically marginalized groups, including the LGBTQI+ community.
Her work is holistic and wellness-focused, utilizing mindfulness, Yoga-Integrated Therapy, and tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). She uses a feminist, strengths-based, person-centered approach and believes in holding the duality of acceptance and desire for change.
Gabby has worked in the mental health field for over thirteen years, with experience providing individual, couples, and group services at Center on Halsted, Jewish Child & Family Services, Thresholds, and Intraspectrum Counseling. She is also a Registered Yoga Teacher and teaches Power Yoga at a local studio.
Gabby is able to provide services in Illinois, Florida, and Massachusetts.
