LGBTQ+ Qualifications
I aspire to create a welcoming space for all clients and find power in the idea that “there is no neutral body from which our bodies deviate” (to quote Aurora Levins Morales). I have experience with providing affirming bodywork for LGBQ, transgender, and non-binary clients. I am informed by my own experience as a queer and trans person as well as various conferences and trainings I have participated in. Those include the Philly Trans Health Conference, Creating Change, and two trainings with the MaeBright Group (“Trauma and Trans Community” and “Intersections of Disability and Trans Communities”).
