I have several years of working with transgender patients in a variety of medical aesthetics offices (as both an RN and FNP). I did my MSN graduate project on improving the primary care experience for transgender patients. After becoming a nurse practitioner, I began working in internal medicine and continued working in aesthetics as well. Upon entering this provider role, I worked to apply the additional knowledge I gained through my graduate project to make the offices a safer space for LGBTQIA+ patients.
