Being queer can feel like a constant balancing act. You’re told to be proud, authentic, unapologetic—but at the same time, the world still sends messages (loud and subtle) that parts of you don’t belong. Maybe you’re out, but still feel the pressure to fit into someone else’s idea of what queer life should look like—whether that’s in relationships, sex, work, or even your own body. Or maybe you’re not fully out, and the weight of holding it all in is leaving you anxious, disconnected, or numb.
Often people come to therapy when it’s all become too much. When the pressure to keep it together cracks. When old ways of coping—overworking, numbing out—stop working, and the feelings you’ve been holding at bay start flooding in. It can be scary and disorienting, but it’s also an opening. The moment you realize you can’t do it alone is often the moment real change begins.
In therapy, we can slow all of that down. Together, we’ll look at how these pressures—external and internal—shape your relationships, your choices, and the way you see yourself. We’ll work to untangle old patterns, heal the parts of you that learned to hide, and help you feel more grounded in your own skin. This isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about helping you live with more freedom, connection, and self-trust.
I bring to this work both professional expertise and lived experience as a gay therapist. In addition to my private practice in Beverly Hills, I’m a clinician at Rainbow Hill, an LGBTQ+ affirming recovery center, where I work with individuals navigating addiction and lead groups on healthy sexuality and psychodynamic process work. I’m also trained in couples and sex therapy and have advanced training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, which focuses on understanding the deeper emotional patterns that shape our lives and relationships.
As a Clinical Instructor at the Wright Institute Los Angeles (WILA), I teach and supervise early career therapists, staying deeply engaged in the work of growth—both my clients’ and my own.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to begin, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I’d be honored to walk with you as you navigate this next chapter.
