As a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and clinical therapist, I provide LGBTQ+ affirming, identity-affirming, and inclusive mental health care for individuals navigating identity, relationships, and emotional challenges. My work is rooted in creating an inclusive, nonjudgmental “brave space” where clients feel safe exploring their gender identity, sexual orientation, and lived experiences with honesty and self-compassion. I believe therapy should be a collaborative and empowering process, supporting LGBTQ+ individuals in building self-acceptance, confidence, and emotional resilience while navigating the complexities of identity and societal expectations.
I have experience working with LGBTQ+ clients facing concerns such as identity exploration, coming out, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, dating, family conflict, and life transitions. I also support clients navigating internalized stigma, minority stress, and the impact of societal and cultural expectations. My work is inclusive of diverse identities and relationship structures, including queer, nonbinary, transgender, and polyamorous/ethically non-monogamous (ENM) individuals.
My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and relational therapy. I tailor each session to the individual, helping clients develop coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and strengthen their sense of self. I also focus on helping clients feel more empowered in relationships, set boundaries, and communicate authentically.
As an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist, I am committed to providing culturally competent, trauma-informed care that recognizes the unique challenges LGBTQ+ individuals may face. My goal is to create a space where clients feel seen, validated, and supported in living authentically and in alignment with their values.
