Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving clients in Pennsylvania, Louisiana, and West Virginia with over 14 years of experience in behavioral and mental health across various settings, including hospitals, schools, and outpatient facilities. As a Certified Trauma Professional, with extensive and ongoing training and certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I primarily treat clients with ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders, grief, trauma, and trauma stemming from intimate partner violence.
My therapy style is centered on tackling current issues with practical solutions that improve your well-being. It involves holding you accountable and providing the insights you need, rather than what you might want to hear.
My past and current clients’ feedback over the course of my career is invaluable to me. I have extensive experience working with LGBTQ+ individuals and have been consistently described as easy to talk to and build a rapport with. My therapy style has been described as direct, but gentle. Ensuring that I create a safe environment for my clients to express their true selves is of utmost importance to me.
I recognize that no textbook or degree can rival first-hand experience. Bearing in mind that I may not fully grasp my client’s personal experiences, I excel at offering a professional and personable perspective, maintaining an open mind, and always remembering that my clients are the experts on their own lives. The evidence-based treatment modalities that I use in session, are solely determined by my client’s individual needs and personal goals. I acknowledge that I may be the sole confidant of your struggles or hardships, and it’s very important to me that you feel free to be your authentic self in my presence. Whatever it may be that you are going through, be encouraged to know that you certainly are not alone. I am here and I am here to help.
