I am a born and raised Mainer who identify as a cisgender gay man who has a history of supporting the LGBTQIA+ community through inclusive treatment, specifically with the transgender community, through advocacy during the 2012 fight for same-sex marriage in the Pine Tree State through MassEquality volunteering, and as a contributing member of the Human Rights Campaign, a former provider at Health Equity Alliance (HEAL), and as an intern for the Bangor chapter of Network for Older Adults (formerly SAGE Maine). I have also taken several continuing education courses around treatment for the LGBTQ+ community during my time as a conditional and independently licensed clinical social worker with a continuing interest and desire to further my knowledge and to do better when I learn better.
