I am a licensed family practice nurse practitioner (FNP) with prescriptive authority certified as a gender-affirming care provider with the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) and as an HIV specialist with the American Academy of HIV Medicine (AAHIVM). I am the president of a telehealth practice focused on gender-affirming care, HIV prevention, and HIV management called Gamut Health. I received my Master of Science in Nursing from Indiana University South Bend (IUSB), where I piloted the incorporation of transgender and gender diverse healthcare into the curriculum for nurse practitioners. This education was then rolled out to the undergraduate nursing curriculum as well. In 2017, I presented on gender-affirming care at the Sigma Theta Tau International Conference in Indianapolis. Before moving out west, I was honored to work with Mosaic Health and Healing Arts, Indiana’s first family medicine practice to be openly accepting of LGBTQ+ patients. Prior to launching the telelhealth clinic, I worked with the Transgender Health Program of St. John’s Well Child and Family Center, one of the largest FQHCs in California.

Gamut Health was founded to help break down barriers and improve access regardless of who you are or where you’re from. We strongly believe a rural location, limited time, and/or limited resources should not keep you from getting the care you deserve. We order labs and medications to wherever is local and convenient for patients, and we take AHCCCS, Medicare, many private insurances, and use a sliding scale for those who are uninsured in an attempt to make things as easy and affordable as possible.
