As a proud member of the LGBT community and a board-certified dermatologist, I am committed to serving the unique dermatologic needs of LGBT patients and patients of color. I was a member of the first Diversity Equity, and Inclusion Committee for my dermatology residency program at University of Minnesota. I also am part of the Expert Resource Group (ERG) on LGBT and Sexual/Gender Minorities Health for the American Academy of Dermatology which promotes dermatologists’ care for LGBT patients, research into dermatology-related LGBT health issues, and advocating for LGBT communities. I am a member of Honor in Pride, a resource group for employees of the HonorHealth Hospital System in Phoenix, Arizona. I have also published clinical research in diversity and LGBT care within dermatology. One of my passions is providing the best possible care for LGBT patients with skin diseases and bridging gap
