Life’s challenges can often feel overwhelming, leaving us grappling with obstacles that seem insurmountable. It’s completely natural to struggle during these times. How we respond to and relate to our experiences can shape our experience, guiding us toward connecting to what is meaningful and essential in our lives. As a dedicated mental health clinician, I am committed to providing adults and older adolescents with thoughtful and comprehensive care that respects the diverse aspects of their identity, including their cultural, racial, sexual, and social backgrounds. I incorporate process-based and behavioral science treatments to help individuals dealing with anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and OCD-related disorders, depressive and bipolar disorders, as well as trauma. I understand that each person has unique life experiences, and I strive to tailor therapy to foster a mutual understanding in service of the desired goals. Together, I endeavor to create a space for learning and connection, focusing on building awareness and flexibility.
My expertise comprises several clinical training programs, including a post-graduate fellowship at The Reeds Center – Treatment of Anxiety, OCD, and Related Disorders, where I gained clinical experience and supervision delivering exposure and response prevention (ERP), habit reversal therapy (HRT), trauma-informed treatments such as STAIR-NT and CPT, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Additionally, I studied and trained with Dr. Katherine Shear at The Center for Prolonged Grief at Columbia University, Dr. Matthieu Villatte, Research Scientist and Clinical Trainer of the Evidence-Based Practice Institute of Seattle, the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI), and the Westchester Center for the Study of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy (WCSPP). I earned an M.S. in Advanced Clinical Social Work Practice focusing on Health, Mental Health, and Disabilities from Columbia University and a B.A. in Theatre from Franklin & Marshall College. I maintain professional memberships with the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) and the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS).
