I’m Kabir, an Indian, trans therapist based in Houston, Texas.
I show up to therapy as a co-collaborator: someone who moves at your pace, honors your autonomy, and invites creativity into the space. That might mean we take a walk during session, play a board game together, or chat over the phone if in-person or video doesn’t feel right for you.
I support folks navigating grief, ADHD, autism, gender and/or sexuality exploration, relationship shifts after gender transition, and life as a child of immigrants. My work is grounded in values and mindfulness, and incorporates practices that help you stay rooted, present, and connected to what really matters. If you’re dealing with something that isn’t listed here but you think we’d vibe, I encourage you to reach out for a consult. Therapy with me isn’t about fitting into a box, it’s about co-creating a space that makes sense for you.
I received my Master’s in Social Work from University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor’s in Social Work from University of Texas at Austin. I’m currently being supervised by Max Casero (LCSW-S).
