I am a queer, transmasculine occupational therapist (OT). My experiences as an OT include providing direct care to LGBTQIA+ clients ranging in age from 3 years old to 80+ years old, as well as providing training for family members and caregivers.
I have particular interests in chronic illness, mental health, dementia care, aging in place and home modification, and adaptive equipment/assistive technology.
I have participated in and co-led community-based and academic workshops related to LGBTQIA health and competent care. My personal experiences navigating the healthcare system as a queer transmasculine person with chronic illnesses informs my professional practice.
I am a member of AOTA and NBCOT and am licensed to practice in TN, NC, and GA.
I’m currently available to provide virtual, in-home, or community-based consultation related to aging in place, living with and managing chronic illness, caregiver training (for caregivers of individuals of any age), and therapeutic use of art and craft.
