I am an occupational therapist (OT) with more than a decade of experience providing direct care to LGBTQIA+ clients ranging in age from 3 years old to 80+ years old, as well as providing education for family members and caregivers. Currently, I provide in-home or community-based consultations related to aging in place, living with and managing chronic illness, caregiver training (for caregivers of individuals of any age), and therapeutic use of art and craft.
Additionally, I’m available to speak to your community group or organization about OT, LGBTQIA+ health, aging in place, managing chronic illness, and therapeutic use of arts and crafts. I have experience developing and leading community-based, client focused, and provider focused workshops.
My personal experiences navigating the healthcare system as a queer transmasculine person with chronic illnesses also informs my professional practice. I am a member of AOTA and NBCOT and am licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in North Carolina.
