As a biracial, first-generation American and member of the LGBTQ+ community, I know what it’s like to sometimes feel torn in different directions and unsure of how to navigate. I am very open about my queer identity, and I provide couples counseling and adolescent counseling for members of the LGBTQ+ community. I care deeply about helping people accept and embrace multicultural as well as queer identities. I strongly believe we all deserve to be represented, feel seen and live truthfully without being weighed down by guilt. I support people to approach challenges with curiosity as we explore questions of how and where we fit in.
Through my experience working with Abuse and Sexual Assault Prevention (ASAP), I learned the importance of helping people find the words to name their experience when they feel unsure of how to explain it. Through studying human sexuality, I recognize the importance of understanding various identities and dynamics as they relate to our relationships with ourselves and others. I bring a strong sense of kindness, stability and balance to inspire people to tell their story through real talk, real feelings, real language, even the messy and difficult parts.
I understand how painful and lonely it can be to try to get through your challenges. You can have the confidence and stability to live openly and honestly or fine tune where you are at now. You deserve to believe in your own capabilities and learn to be kinder to yourself. I am here to offer support and I would be honored to work with you. Let’s connect today!
