Dr. Kinna Patel is a board certified foot and ankle physician serving the community of Smyrna, GA and beyond. She prides herself in dedicating extensive time with her patients to formulate the best treatment plan that is customized to each individual. Dr. Patel recognizes that social stigmas and marginalization create health disparities in LGBTQ-friendly healthcare and many facilities are poorly equipped to handle routine podiatric treatments for such patients. Dr. Patel is committed to providing a safe, non-discriminatory space for everyone to receive care. She uses state-of-the-art technology in combination with traditional and holistic methods to get you back on your feet as quickly as possible.

Dr. Patel completed her bachelor’s degree at New York University and attended Temple University in Philadelphia, PA where she earned her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine, and presently serves as a board member. Dr. Patel then pursued her postgraduate education at Cornell University in NY, where she earned a degree in Plant-Based Medicine. Dr. Patel finished a 3-year Podiatric Medicine and Surgery residency in Miami, FL with an additional certification in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery.

It was in Miami where Dr. Patel first started working with professional sports teams and trained with the Miami Heat’s team surgeons. Dr. Patel continues to work with professional and retired athletes, as well as patients of all ages, ranging from infants to the elderly, for general and specialized foot and ankle conditions. She treats a full variety of foot and ankle conditions including, but not limited to heel pain, flat feet, dermatological/skin conditions, tendonitis, bunions, hammertoes, ingrown nails, fungal nails, fractures, warts, nerve pain, sports-related injuries, wound care, infections, diabetic care/limb salvage, varicose veins, and joint pain.

When she is not practicing medicine, Dr. Patel enjoys traveling, writing, volunteering at animal shelters and spending time with her family and friends.
