I work as a voice specialized speech-language pathologist in an interdisciplinary team to assist in gender affirming voice training and surgical recovery. I was drawn to this area of the field while exploring my own gender identity. I have participated in Sandy Hirsch, CCC-SLP’s annual training workshop for gender affirming voice training, and have expertise in vocal surgical recovery stemming from my voice fellowship at USC Voice Center. I presented on a panel for gender affirming voice care at the Voice Foundation in 2022.
