Lauren Tong, MS, CCC-SLP, TSSLD is a California- and New York–licensed speech-language pathologist passionate about helping children communicate with confidence. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and a certification in Teaching Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD).

Lauren earned her BA in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University and her MS from Teachers College, Columbia University. Her experience includes working in special education schools, preschools, skilled nursing facilities, and private practices in NYC, as well as primarily in the private practice setting in California.

With experience treating a wide range of speech and language disorders, Lauren specializes in treating articulation, early intervention, apraxia, expressive/receptive language, fluency, and social communication. She takes a person-centered approach, creates individualized treatment plans and collaborates closely with families, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals to ensure skills carry over beyond the therapy room.
