I am a member of aafp, i did training on lgbtq care in school, and more in residency. I continue to educate myself on the neqest updates with AAFP cmes. I treat a variety of patients and offer a safe space to get any preventative health care screenings including sti testing/ pap smears/ prep discussion. I want patients to feel comfortable discussing any concerns, so I can help facilitate getting them to the proper specialist if I can not address the concern myself.
