I am a cis, queer, white, immigrant woman. I provide psychotherapy utilizing a DBT informed modality and also rely on Narrative Therapy and CBT strategies occasionally. My background is in frontline social work providing services to individuals living with HIV who are also living with addiction, mental illness and housing insecurity specializing on a caseload of individuals living with psychosis or personality disorders. In addition to my history of working with an HIV+ demographic, I have also worked with trans and male-identifying folx in maximum security corrections where I continued my passion for working with complex mental illness in the mental health unit and continued to my focus on addiction, psychosis, and personality disorders.
I have received a multitude of trainings in 2SLGBTQ+ topics and services including CBT for 2SLGBTQ+ youth workshops, workshops for supporting trans identities in the community as a cis service provider, and have taken additional courses on the intersectionality of politics, gender identity, and sexual orientation in my early education as a social worker.
Today, I continue to specialize in working with complex PTSD, personality disorders, and addiction, and continue to support adults and youth with 2SLGBTQ+ related challenges.
