As someone who identifies as an individual in the LGBTQ+ community, I find it important to support others who may not be comfortable with a traditional heterosexual medical provider. With my years of experience working in SF AIDS Foundation STI counselor, to being a leader in the QHA for the School of Medicine at OHSU in Portland, OR, I strive to be a better provider by committing to additional trainings (e.g., hormone replacement therapy) that can further help individuals who don’t have access to speciality services.
