I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor in NC, and LPC in Virginia, and telehealth license in Florida with many years experience treating individuals with various mental health and clinical addiction disorder. I received her Master’s Degree in 1996 and have been providing counseling and therapy since. I am is also a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Supervisor a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist. I am also working towards my PhD in Clinical Sexology at the International Institute of Clinical Sexology. I am also certified in EDMR.
As a PhD candidate and in practice, I have obtained education and experience working with clients facing sexual and meeting their needs including transgender care, LGBTQAI culture, challenges and wellness that accompany the community.
Melissa is a phenomenal mental health professional. She is personable, kind, and easy to open up to. She provided me EMDR therapy that was incredibly effective. The difference after receiving it for my trauma has been day and night. It has worked wonders in providing me the healing I was looking for.
