Board certified as an HIV Specialist by the American Academy of HIV Medicine and dedicated to providing HIV PrEP, STI PrEP and PEP, and gender-affirming healthcare, including hormone replacement. I am a member of the World and US Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH / USPATH) and completed my clinical rotations at University of Kansas Medical Center- Internal Medicine Clinic, which primarily serves the LGBTQ+ community and those living with HIV. I also have several immediate family members who are part of the LGBTQ+ community.

In addition to health concerns directly related to LGBTQ+ people, I also specialize in treating metabolic syndrome. This presents as a cluster of symptoms including insulin resistance (pre-diabetes or diabetes), hypertension (high blood pressure), dyslipidemia (high overall and “bad” cholesterol and low “good” cholesterol), increased body weight, and others. I specialize in Lifestyle and Functional Medicine to prevent and treat these conditions along with medications.
