I am a Licensed Graduate Social Worker and hold a license as an Alcohol
and Drug Counselor. I was drawn to the field of Social Work because I
appreciate how social work takes a systemic approach to therapy. When
learning to manage our mental health it is important to recognize the
systems we are a part of and their impact on us. My background in the
creative arts gives me powerful tools to help clients process deep
experiences that can be difficult to articulate verbally.
I believe it is important to honor all parts of our identity and explore how these identities
inform our experiences in the world. I do my best to create a calm and
inclusive therapeutic environment that supports and empowers members of
the LGBTQIA+ community.
