If you’re seeking therapy to improve your self-image or change your relationship with food, or if you’re looking for support, but find it hard to talk about how you’re feeling, then we may be a good fit. I’m a Board-Certified Art Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 7 years of experience, with specific expertise supporting teenagers, children and young adults who have eating disorders, depression, trauma, PTSD, and low self-esteem. I am passionate about providing affirming care to LGBTQIA+ children and teens, and have specific training in gender affirming care. I believe my clients are capable of living their best lives, and I am committed to providing the guidance, processing, creative expression, skills and empowerment to help them do so.
We can work collaboratively to tailor our approach to meet your unique needs. As an Art Therapist, I can guide you in using art to reach deeper insights. Art therapy is just one option in our work, and I also provide traditional talk therapy. For those focusing on their relationship with their body, I use a HAES-informed approach to reach body neutrality.
I believe that an essential part of therapy is working with a therapist who you connect with. I will bring my own authenticity and humor to our sessions, and encourage you to do the same. Outside of work, I enjoy film photography, board games, and feel-good TV. If you think we might be a good fit, then email or text to schedule a free 15 minute consult call!
