I am a queer, disabled, chronically-ill trans provider. I am a member of WPATH and keep as up to date as possible on the shifting terms, identities, challenges, and wins among the community.
I believe that you know what’s best for you. I can help you find that, but I don’t address goals or progress as good or bad, only how congruent they are with what you want for your life.
I utilize CBT, mindfulness, EMDR, and ACT. I have trauma-informed trainings. I have trained in meditation and yoga, suicide prevention, and disordered eating.
I believe the therapeutic relationship is important; you should know that you have someone in your corner. I believe in holistic and integrated healthcare. As a social worker, I do also provide supports or resources as relevant and practical.
Friendly to sex work, alternative treatment, kink, polyamory, asexuality, and basically everything that isn’t going to end anyone.
Our first session should be in person if at all possible, but I do consider exceptions if needed. After that, I am happy to offer telehealth as long as you have a place where you can have some privacy.
