I am a board-certified Family Medicine physician with a clinical focus on preventive, lifestyle, and precision-based care. My approach is rooted in creating an inclusive, affirming, and judgment-free environment where LGBTQ+ patients feel safe, heard, and respected. I recognize that many individuals in the LGBTQ+ community have experienced barriers to care, stigma, or medical trauma, and I am committed to rebuilding trust through compassionate, evidence-based, and patient-centered care.
My clinical interests include comprehensive primary care, mental health, metabolic health, sexual health, and hormone-informed care. I provide LGBTQ+–inclusive services such as gender-affirming primary care, hormone therapy monitoring and support, sexual health screenings (including HIV/STI prevention and PrEP management), and mental health support for anxiety, depression, and identity-related stressors. I also have a strong interest in deprescribing and optimizing medication regimens in a way that aligns with each patient’s goals and identity.
My training and ongoing education include LGBTQ+ health competencies through continuing medical education (CME), with a focus on gender-affirming care, inclusive communication, trauma-informed care, and addressing health disparities affecting LGBTQ+ populations. I stay current with evolving guidelines in transgender health, HIV prevention, and culturally competent care to ensure my patients receive the highest standard of care.
Beyond clinical care, I am deeply interested in advancing equitable healthcare systems. My work includes integrating preventive medicine, reducing systemic barriers (including insurance and access challenges), and advocating for care models that are inclusive of diverse identities and lived experiences. I aim to create a space where patients can openly discuss their health, identity, relationships, and goals without fear of judgment.
My philosophy is simple: healthcare should be personalized, empowering, and affirming. I partner with my patients to develop care plans that respect their identities, values, and long-term health goals—whether that includes gender affirmation, mental wellness, metabolic health, or overall longevity. Every patient deserves to feel seen, supported, and confident in their care.
