I’m bi-racial (Native American/Mexican) and my pronouns are she/her. I have extensive training in trauma (e.g. sexual abuse, intimate partner violence, and human trafficking) and crisis management. During my internship, I worked with clients who identify as LGBTQIA and continued working with the community in my private practice focusing on sexual abuse, Transgender Affirming Care, polyamorous relationships, and sexual identity exploration in children and adults.
I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma Informed Dialectical Therapy. I have attended several trainings provided by the TransLatin Coalition, Journey Out, Children of the Night, Optum Learning, Kaiser Learning, Long Beach LGTBIA Center, Strength United, and more. I continue to keep up to date on treatment modalities to promote inclusion, awareness, and acceptance.
