I am board certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism with specific focus on gender affirming care. I helped to create and serve as Medical Director for Affirm: The Rush Center for Gender, Sexuality, and Reproductive Health, one of the first comprehensive LGBTQ+ health centers at an academic facility in the Chicagoland area. I currently practice at University of California San Diego Health where I serve as co-Medical Director for our gender health program. I am an active member of the WPATH (World Professional Association for Transgender Health).
