I am a board-certified pediatrician at Einstein Medical Center-Philadelphia, and serve as Associate Program Director of the pediatric residency program there. I received my medical degree at the UMKC – School of Medicine in 2003, trained in pediatrics at The Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, and completed my MPH from the University of Kansas in 2012. I have special interest in immunizations, social media in healthcare, and the health care of sexual and gender diverse youth. I have been published, lecture (including on the the healthcare of gay men and transgender youth) , and have served as a media resource both locally and nationally. I have completed training in the healthcare of transgender youth through the Los Angeles Gender Center and WPATH. I self-identify as a cis-gender gay male and reside in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, with my husband, Dustin, and our son, Emmaus.
