This is a space where you don’t have to shrink, filter, or perform.
For many LGBTQ+ people, the world has sent a clear message—be less of who you are. Therapy here actively pushes back against that. This work is grounded in the belief that your identity is not something to fix—it’s something to reclaim, understand, and live fully. As a Certified LGBTQIA+ Affirmative Care Specialist, therapy is intentionally affirming, trauma-informed, and rooted in a deep understanding of identity, minority stress, and the psychological impact of navigating systems that haven’t always made space for you.
Clients often come in feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck—and we work directly with what’s underneath: Family rejection and attachment wounds, Internalized shame and identity conflict, Anxiety, depression, and emotional burnout, Relationship struggles and fear of vulnerability, Body image and self-worth, Navigating visibility, safety, and belonging
There is particular depth in working with LGBTQIA+ clients exploring identity development and those unpacking religious trauma. For many, faith wasn’t just belief—it was a place where harm occurred. Therapy becomes a space to deconstruct what hurt, hold onto what still matters, and rebuild something that actually fits. This work is not surface-level. It’s direct, engaged, and focused on real change.
Some of my approaches to therapy include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, and somatic and mindfulness-based practices. Among my clinical focus is LGBTQIA+ identity integration, trauma processing, minority stress resilience, and religious trauma recovery.
Sessions are collaborative, honest, and grounded. You won’t be judged for who you are—but you will be supported in becoming more fully yourself. The goal isn’t just symptom relief. It’s self-trust. It’s clarity. It’s finally feeling like your life belongs to you. I am honored to be able to walk alongside you in your journey in a safe, supportive, and welcoming approach to the hard work of therapy. You can do this!
