Ryon Parker is a Board-Certified Internal Medicine physician and entrepreneur. As a practicing primary care physician, he founded Parker Medical, one of Las Vegas’ elite private concierge medicine practices.
A 2002 graduate from Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska, he received his medical degree from the Ross University School of Medicine in 2008 and completed a residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the Maine Medical Center affiliated with Tuft’s University School of Medicine in 2013. While a resident, Dr. Parker served as a medical correspondent for WPXT, a CW-affiliated television station licensed in Portland, Maine. Dr. Parker later earned an MBA in Healthcare Management at Husson University in Bangor, Maine.
In 2015, Dr. Parker started the LT Proactive Care Clinic within LifeTime Fitness in Henderson, Nevada, winning the Innovation Award from the Chamber of Commerce. In 2017, he subsequently founded Parker Medical, a membership-based concierge medicine program that focuses on the patient-physician relationship.
In addition to Parker Medical, Dr. Parker currently serves as adjunct faculty at the UNLV School of Medicine and a research scientist with the University of Nevada Reno School of Medicine. Dr. Parker is also on the Board of Directors for the American Academy of Private Physicians and volunteers at Mission of Hope, an overseas mission providing medical services to the underserved in Haiti and the Caribbean.
He enjoys lecturing on metabolic disease, hospitality in healthcare, and optimizing healthcare for LGBTQIA patients.
