I am a trans/non-binary physical therapist who specializes in pelvic floor physical therapy. I can help patients of all genders and non-genders with pelvic floor dysfunction including pelvic pain (pain in genitals, low abdomen, with penetration, with sitting, post-surgical, etc), tailbone pain, pregnancy related issues, urinary incontinence, urinary urgency and frequency, fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, rectal prolapse, constipation, etc. I can help people prepare for gender affirming surgeries, as well as rehab after, including dilation support, resolving constipation, improving tissue mobility and pain. I am trauma informed, neurodivergent affirming, body positive and sex positive, and view physical therapy as a partnership between myself and the patient, with the patient in the driver’s seat. I often help patient’s find resources or other providers in the Phoenix area that are inclusive, and queer and/or neurodivergent affirming. I think it is important to have a pelvic floor PT who understands the myriad ways queer people exist, have relationships, and are intimate, so they can receive the care they need without having to educate their provider.
