My therapeutic approach is to provide support and counseling through a collaborative, warm and comfortable environment in which clients can feel free to explore and effectively address personal life challenges. I use a variety of approaches including solution-focused, narrative, experiential, cognitive-behavioral, family and play therapy techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. I am committed to assisting each individual build on their existing strengths to live their best possible life.
My experience has been primarily in working with children and adolescents, though I enjoy working with people of any age and all backgrounds (i.e. race, sexual orientation, religious views, ethnicity, gender, etc). I have experience working with a wide variety of mental health difficulties including: attachment issues, anxiety, depression, disruptive behavior and challenges, emotional regulation, and life transitions. My goal is to help clients learn tools to reach their highest potential and to help families live more harmonious and happier lives together.
While I am not a member of the LGBTUQ+ community myself, I am an ally. I foundationally believe that all humans have the unique strengths within themselves and my job/role is to help nuture those. I am not an expert on anyone else and I believe all people know themselves the best. I want to be a part of the solution, I want to add to my clients lives, I want to continously learn and grow in this ever-changing world, and I strive to provide compassionate, affirming care to all individuals.
