As a queer, cis-gendered person of Jewish, Mexican descent, I have always been curious about the nuances and power of human connection and communication. I started my career in mental health as a volunteer community counselor and felt honored to be a part of people’s journey of embodying their most authentic selves. I value working with people to break free from the past wounds and societal structures that keep them from living the life they dream of.
I hold a BA in Linguistics from Reed College in Portland, OR, and an MS in Human Development with a focus in Marriage and Family therapy from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (#139523), I am supervised by Renae Johnson LPCC #6018 and Kristen Crowe LPCC #5451
Together, we will identify and deconstruct the beliefs and messages that stand in the way. I’ll help you to stop outsourcing your self-worth, and to tune into your inner voice and your body’s messages. You will practice stepping into your authentic self, and bring empowerment and agency into your daily life.
Our work together will give you the ability to choose yourself and to create the life you want. You will clear out the rain gutter and all the schmutz that’s been clouding your vision. You will feel secure in how you function in the world, knowing how to make empowering decisions, and that you can build trusting, caring relationships.
