Trevor Phelps is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Michigan. He has worked with individuals that have experienced foster care, survivors of domestic and sexual violence, individuals beginning and maintaining their substance use recovery, and individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community. Trevor is particularly passionate about serving the LGBTQIA+ community. He is trained in both Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which he uses as an approach to meet the client where they are at, assess their motivation for change, address any barriers the client is facing, and work towards a mutually agreed upon end goal.
