LGBTQ+ aware primary care provider; trauma-informed care; collaborative care approach
I can’t say anything good about this provider, just the opposite. She gets mad at a patient over the simplest things. Like survey responses. My boyfriend had made an appointment with her and canceled four days out because he came down with a bad cold and didn’t want her or anyone else to get it. When he tried to reschedule the appointment scheduler was rude to him because he couldn’t understand her message as transcribed by his cellular provider. He has anxiety and sometimes it is extreme and doesn’t wish to talk on the phone, and prefers written communication. He told her to forget it and she got mad. Today he woke up with rectal hemorrhaging. He had lost a fair amount of blood and she won’t see him. He has a GI appointment in two weeks, but she wouldn’t even tell him it was or wasn’t okay to wait. Proceed with caution with this PA as a health care provider.
I cannot in good conscious recommend her. In fact stay away. Ms. Miller had the personality of a concrete wall. She has never addressed me by my name. In almost two years of care she has never touched me or did any type of physical exam. I have a lot of ailments, and am a bisexual male. My long time partner is a trans female that identifies as a woman and has had all surgeries except for the final two, after deciding not to. I am the bottom in our relationship and have worked in prostitution to pay off my debt to her with professional couples. I am concerned about the lack of care received, and don’t think she provides good care to anyone. She refuses to do a prostate exam, any rectal exam, or testicular exam. Blood work is the only thing she orders and refers all male patients out to other providers. I’d give her no stars if available. She should stay home or find another profession.
