I am a queer person who strives to bring queer and trans awareness and sensitivity to my practice and to my field at large. Too much of the healthcare industry, including alternative medicine, insists upon unhelpful and frequently traumatizing assumptions about gender and sexuality. I believe that diversity of genders, bodies, abilities, and experiences is a beautiful thing to be cultivated and respected. Queer and trans folk are a large part of my practice. I don’t make assumptions about your gender or sexuality, and I try to avoid gendered language in reference to the body. I will honor your pronouns and any other requests with respect and confidentiality.

I specialize in osteopathic manual therapeutic techniques, including Visceral Manipulation and Craniosacral Therapy. While all of my work is potentially relevant to LGBTQ+ patients, some areas of particular interest may include: support in working through the somatic residue of traumatic experiences, support in developing a greater sense of embodiment and ease, assistance with surgery recovery, integration and balancing of hormone therapy by supporting proper function of the endocrine and digestive systems. I approach the body holistically, and generally incorporate a variety of techniques into each session.
