I am a family medicine physician, now in my 28th year of practice in the Twin Cities. I am also an assistant professor with the U of MN Department of Family Medicine and Community Health. My clinical care in addition to direct patient care at my outpatient clinic involves training family physician residents and teaching U of MN medical students. I have one clinic site, at MHealth Fairview Phalen Clinic but also provide care at MHealth Fairview St John’s hospital and as a FMOB physician, provide comprehensive maternity care including vaginal deliveries at St John’s Hospital. I’ve cared for LGBTQIA+ patients throughout the years as their primary care physician and recently engaged in increasing my knowledge and understanding of current best practices for gender affirming care. Our clinic has trained and prepared, through the help of our experts in gender affirming care, to provide not only gender affirming care but full primary care services that support the entire health of LGBTQIA patients in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
