Hi! I am Courtney, a licensed therapist based in Los Angeles, California passionate about infusing therapy with real life. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California and Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Kentucky. I also hold a post graduate certificate in Sport Social Work from University of Michigan that included education specific to LGBTQ+ athletes. I also engage in ongoing continuing education in working with LGBTQIA2S+ including practical applications, history and theory. My therapy focuses on supporting adults and adolescents with general mental health including by not limited to identity exploration, anxiety, depression, and ADHD. I also specialize in working with eating disorders and body image concerns, and therapy for athletes seeking support for performance, injury recovery, and life transitions.
My path to therapy wasn’t a straight line—I began my career in the entertainment industry, helping bring other people’s stories to life. Through that experience, I realized something important: I didn’t just want to tell people’s stories—I wanted to help people find their voice and share their own stories. That’s what brought me to this work.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and infused with personality. Healing happens in a space where you can show up fully as yourself—without judgment, without pretense. Together, I will journey with you to create that kind of space, so you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and goals in a way that feels supportive and empowering.
Movement is also an important part my life, and when it supports your goals and is clinically appropriate, I integrate it into the therapeutic process. Movement is more than exercise—it’s a powerful, evidence-based tool for nervous system regulation, stress reduction, and reconnecting with your body. Whether using traditional talk therapy or integrating mindful movement, my goal is always the same: to provide a space where you can exhale, be yourself, and explore what matters most to you—at your own pace, in your own way.
