My name is Naomi. I’m a Licensed Psychologist offering virtual therapy for children, teens, young adults, and caregivers throughout Oregon.
I work with people who feel stuck—whether due to anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, complex health conditions, or navigating neurodiversity in environments that may not feel supportive or affirming. I am deeply committed to providing inclusive, LGBTQIA+ affirming care and welcome clients of all gender identities, sexual orientations, and relationship structures.
I believe that getting stuck is not a personal failure—it is a reflection of the systems, experiences, and contexts we’ve had to survive. Many people I work with are navigating environments that have invalidated or constrained who they are. In our work together, my goal is to create a space where you feel seen, respected, and affirmed in your full identity. From that foundation, we’ll collaborate to clarify what matters most to you, set meaningful goals, and build practical, evidence-based skills to help you move forward in ways that feel authentic and sustainable.
My approach is grounded in science while remaining flexible and personalized. We’ll focus on learning skills and taking small, manageable steps toward change, with an emphasis on practicing between sessions so growth continues in your everyday life. I view therapy through a holistic lens, recognizing how identity, culture, relationships, trauma, and systemic factors all interact to shape mental health. My research background in abuse, betrayal, gender-based violence, and health disparities among gender-expansive youth informs my work and keeps me attentive to the broader contexts that affect well-being.
I have received specialized training through the Children’s Colorado TRUE Center for Gender Diversity and have extensive experience working with LGBTQIA+ individuals and families. I support clients in exploring and affirming their gender identity and expression, navigating coming out or inviting others in, building self-acceptance, and coping with minority stress, discrimination, and healthcare barriers. I strive to provide care that not only acknowledges these challenges but actively affirms and celebrates each person’s identity. I also offer WPATH-aligned letters of support for gender-affirming medical care using a non-gatekeeping, collaborative approach that centers your autonomy and lived experience.
When working with children, I partner closely with parents and caregivers to create supportive, affirming environments that help kids thrive—especially for gender-expansive and neurodiverse youth. With older children and teens, I balance individual and family work to ensure they have space to explore their identity while also strengthening the systems around them.
Therapy with me is collaborative and human. While I take our work seriously, I also believe there is space for humor, creativity, and even playfulness—I want you to feel like you can show up as your full self. My hope is that, together, we build a flexible, personalized toolkit that allows you to feel more empowered and more connected to yourself and others.
