Melissa Stone, DNP, AGPCNP-C, is a-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner who provides care for adults of all genders and sexual orientations. Her clinical interests include preventive care, chronic disease management, weight management, LGBTQIA+ and gender-affirming care, sexual and gynecologic health, contraception, PrEP/PEP and HIV management, basic mental health, and common acute/sick concerns.
She is passionate about evidence-based, patient-centered care and believes healthcare should be collaborative, judgment-free, and grounded in each patient’s individual goals, concerns, and whole-person well-being.
Melissa earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Washington and beyond her experience as a Nurse Practitioner, she brings a broad clinical background as a registered nurse and other various nursing roles, giving her experience caring for patients across a variety of different levels of the healthcare system. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring new restaurants, traveling, and spending time with her two cats.
