As a bicultural Asian therapist, I draw on my own lived experience navigating multiple identities to connect with clients from all walks of life. My background allows me to hold a deep appreciation for cultural context, identity, and belonging—creating a space where clients feel seen, understood, and valued for who they are.
My approach is person-centered, grounded in the belief that every client holds the capacity for growth and resilience. I have completed Compassion Cultivation Training, which informs the empathy and presence I bring into sessions. In addition, I am trained in strengths-based trauma recovery and somatic experiencing, approaches that honor the mind-body connection and support clients in healing at their own pace. I also provide gender-affirming therapy, a commitment rooted in my personal connection to the LGBTQIA+ community.
Clients often describe my style as compassionate, non-judgmental, interactive, creative, and insightful—with room for both depth and humor. My goal is to help individuals navigate life’s challenges, recover from trauma, and discover resilience while honoring their unique identities and stories.
