Our team of experienced, LGBTQ+ affirming therapists specializes in treating PTSD, depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), grief and loss, adjustment to illness or disability, religious trauma, dissociation, chronic suicidal thoughts, substance use, codependency, and parenting challenges. We provide a safe and supportive space for clients exploring their gender and/or sexual identity, and we celebrate each person’s authentic self.

Wise Counsel therapists are trained in a variety of evidence-based modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), internal family systems (IFS), mindfulness practices, and focusing-oriented therapy.
