Alissa Wolfley is a physician assistant who provides addiction treatment in Colchester, Vermont. Alissa completed her studies in Boston, MA, where she first became inspired to practice patient-centered and all-inclusive treatment by her experiences working with the Boston Healthcare for the Homeless Program. She further solidified her dedication to harm reduction when completing her undergraduate capstone project at a local needle exchange, where she was able to see the incredible work that can be done when trust is built between patients or clients and those providing care and assistance to them.
Alissa primarily provides buprenorphine treatment for opioid use disorder out of SaVida Health, but also provides other services including treatment of alcohol use disorder, stimulant use disorder, and hepatitis C infection (for patients who also struggle with substance use disorders). She and the rest of her team at SaVida are dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming space to access treatment.
