Hi, my name is Maegh. My pronouns are Maegh/they and I identify as a queer, non-binary person. I specialize in working with people of all genders and sexualities. I speak English and Dutch fluently.
As a therapist, I seek to offer you a safe and accessible space to make sense of your self, your feelings, your life and your relationships. And while the majority of my clients identify somewhere along the LGBTQIA2S+ spectrum, my services are for all genders, all sexual orientations and all relationships.
I work from a humanistic standpoint and develop session plans based on each individual person seeking care and their specific needs.
Using a non-judgmental, intersectional, and intuitive lens, sessions often include topics related to identities, mental health, relationships, careers, and beyond. I am affirming of gender, sexuality, and relationship diversity. I am trauma-informed. I am neuro affirming and I am anti-ableist.
Currently, I am finishing my PhD research which is focused on the barriers to care that trans folx face when seeking gender-affirming care at the Amsterdam University Medical Center (location VUmc).
