I am a certified birth doula and childbirth educator, working with families of all kinds. I have sought out LGBTQIA+ healthcare training through the University of Louisville in order to strengthen my working skills with LGBTQIA+ clients. I make a point to use pronouns, names, and bodily terms that you choose and step up as an advocate within the birthing space to ensure that these terms are recognized by all.
