Ashley is a licensed professional clinical counselor who received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Kent State University and Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walsh University. She enjoys working with individuals ages 11 and older using a holistic, strength-based, and person-centered approach. Ashley values genuineness and authenticity when building strong therapeutic relationships with clients. She collaborates with clients to identify appropriate and creative interventions to reach their goals so they can navigate life with acceptance, compassion, and resilience. Ashley incorporates a variety of treatment modalities tailored to each individual, including mindfulness, EMDR, experiential, play, art, sand tray, psychoeducation, and trauma-informed care. She works with clients struggling with a variety of concerns such as anxiety, past and present trauma/loss, gender identity, depression, relationships, adjusting to changes, and self-acceptance. Ashley is an EMDR Trained Therapist and has specialized training to work with the LGBTQ+ population, including gender-affirming care through assessment and/or referral to local medical providers for gender-expansive individuals.
