I have long been an LGBTQ+ ally and have sought specific training to enhance my ability to provide care and services for my LGBTQ+ clients, including best practices for understanding and supporting LGBTQ+ clients and developing skills as a trusted adult to help prevent LGBTQ+ youth suicide. I am a member of the Human Rights Campaign. I plan to continue pursuing trainings that will help me provide supportive and culturally responsive mental health care for LGBTQ+ clients.
